Antique brass  door knocker depicting the famous ‘House on the Props’ which is situated in Cornwall, England. Polperro was an isolated fishing community, where smuggling was a traditional occupation. The Props Cottage boasted a secret staircase leading from the river to allow smugglers easy access.
